It translates to monochrome painting and the art style was a prominent visual during the past era. Artists were focused on creating the black and white pieces to really showcase the intricacies in the materials used, the brush strokes, and the layering. The type of art can be seen on the Korean fabric that makes up the seasonal apparel informed by traditional methods as well.
