Daiya Foods and MicroSalt have announced a partnership that will see the two companies working to reduce the sodium content of the former brand's vegan cheese product . The partnership will see UK-based MicroSalt providing is solution to Daiya Foods to reduce the sodium content without compromising on flavor thanks to its patented composition that features micronized particles. The solution will help the food products to reduce their sodium levels by as much as 50%, which will elevate the nutrition-minded profile of Daiya plant-based cheese even further.

MicroSalt CEO Rick Guiney commented on the partnership with Daiya Foods saying, "We're very pleased to align efforts with Daiya Foods, a company that shares our vision of making healthier eating both delicious and accessible. This collaboration demonstrates the versatility of MicroSalt's technology across diverse food categories-from dairy-free alternatives to frozen meals and sauces.”
