Dutch automobile manufacturer Donkervoort has unveiled a spectacular special edition version of its D8 GTO sports car, dubbed the D8 GTO Bilster Berg Edition. The special edition car was created to commemorate Donkervoort's successes in the year 2014, including breaking the Bilster Berg circuit lap record for street-legal production cars. Accordingly, only 14 units of the special edition car will be manufactured.
The D8 GTO Bilster Berg Edition is powered by an Audi 2.5L R5 TFSI engine that pumps out 380 brake horse power which is well utilized thanks to the car's low weight of 685 kg. The vehicle can hit a top speed of 270 km/h, and can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in only 2.8 seconds.
The D8 GTO Bilster Berg Edition is priced at a cool US$223,000.
