Customizable Convenience Meals

7-Eleven Introduces Foodbars Across 16 Singapore Stores

7-Eleven Singapore is introducing customizable convenience meals through its first Foodbar concept, bringing freshly prepared hot food into everyday retail settings. Unlike traditional packaged offerings, the new counters allow customers to personalize their meals while maintaining the speed and accessibility associated with convenience stores.

Launching across 16 locations, Foodbar features different formats depending on store size and customer needs. Larger outlets offer bowls starting at $4.50, with choices including rice, pasta, noodles, proteins, sauces, and toppings. Other locations provide ready-to-serve items such as pizza, waffles, and croissants. The launch follows research showing that 75% of surveyed shoppers anticipate greater reliance on quick meals.

For 7-Eleven, the concept extends its existing selection of more than 130 ready-to-eat products. Offering freshly prepared options could encourage more frequent visits, broaden meal occasions, and strengthen its position in Singapore's convenience food market.
