Curbside Pickup Services

Save Mart Companies Adds Curbside Pickup to Lucky and FoodMaxx

The Save Mart Companies is expanding grocery convenience with curbside pickup at Lucky and FoodMaxx. The service lets shoppers place orders online or through the banners' delivery app, and store teams bring groceries directly to their cars.

The rollout is powered by Instacart and covers eligible Lucky and FoodMaxx locations in Northern California. It also extends across the company's three banners, including Save Mart, giving the grocer a more unified way to handle digital orders without altering the basic store trip.

For shoppers, this means the weekly stock-up can shift from checkout lines to a handoff in the parking lot. Grocery chains now have to match that frictionless convenience or risk being perceived as slower than the stores that do. The extra pickup path also makes app use feel less optional and more central to how people shop.
