The engraving device was designed to be lightweight, small, and visually appealing – a goal which Muherz succeeded in bringing to life. Its laser-engraving functions are supported through an app that can actually control the device, and are omnidirectional – giving the device the ability to replicate almost any design the user is looking for. The Cubiio is able to engrave and cut a variety of materials, including paper board, cardboard, fabric, felt, leather, wood, non-transparent acrylic, and metal. It is also able to engrave chosen designs onto food.
