The Burger King Crispy Onion Whopper has been introduced by the QSR brand as part of its Whopper by You platform to give customers some new options to enjoy that are inspired by classic items. The burger starts off with a beef patty that comes in at more than a quarter-pound in size that has been grilled to perfection before being topped with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, American cheese, bacon, pickles, onions, onion rings and BBQ sauce. The burger is thus sweet, savory and crunchy to give it a satisfying profile when enjoyed on its own or with a side of your choosing.

Chief Marketing Officer Joel Yashinsky spoke on the Burger King Crispy Onion Whopper saying, "Burger King Guests have been loving the recently launched BBQ Brisket Whopper, so we’re excited to bring another Guest-inspired creation to our menus. Like the BBQ Brisket Whopper, the Crispy Onion Whopper is a result of listening to our Guests, and we can’t wait to see what else they come up with that could make its way to BK restaurants in the future.”
