The Covidmaps platform is able to direct users in India to grocery stores, ATMs, and pharmacies that are running. The platform runs using volunteers and crowdsourcing tools that can inform users about operating hours, stock items and they people line up at the locations. Additionally, people can add new stores to the Covidmaps platform. Overall the platform will help people gather essentials goods during the pandemic, and the platform has already had 50,000 users at only two weeks after its launch.

Phani Kishan, one of the founders of Covidmaps spoke about the tool, “People in Delhi and other places are also beginning to participate. But it takes some time before there are enough stores listed in a vicinity before the service gets popular there."
