Industrial designer Benjamin Großjohann has a deep admiration of vinyl records and creates. the Coturn CT-01 portable turntable as a result. He approached the design with the idea of creating a “beautiful product made of real metal” that is “by collectors, for collectors.”
The turntable is defined by its slim structure as it can easily be put in a backpack and carried around to any destination. The body is made from solid anodized aluminum materials with integrated glass resting on top. The integrated tonal arm has a sleek visual with an Audio-Technica Stylus AT 3600 needle. It is able to fold up when it is in travel form, which is one of its most notable features.
