While many brands that create cosmetics for men are concerned with marketing them in a way that doesn't make them seem like makeup, Altr founder Alex Doyle notes that "We tend not to shy away from the cosmetic angle, or promote discretion, like some other brands do."

Altr's product collection includes Blemish Balm and Face Fix to conceal imperfections and specifically address skin issues that men face, as their skin is said to be tougher, oilier and contain more active sebaceous glands. Altr's range also includes skincare products like a face wash and moisturizer, both of which are infused with whiskey.
