The whale lamp by COSIN DESIGN is a table light designed as a simplified whale form, shaped to sit as a sculptural object when not in use. The design captures the animal mid-leap through a continuous curved surface, with no sharp edges or segmented parts. The body is constructed with a semi-translucent material that allows light to pass through the lower section, turning the form into a functional light source rather than a solid figure.

The lamp emits a diffused glow through its underside, distributing light evenly rather than projecting a focused beam. Its compact scale allows it to function as a bedside or ambient lamp, while the smooth exterior maintains a consistent surface across the entire form. The piece is available in multiple colour variations, with each version altering the tone of the emitted light through the material.
