Apple is constructing a six-story hotel with 192 rooms to its corporate campus in Northwest Austin. The site plan gets the revised update approved by the City of Austin a few weeks ago. The new update showcases a mat that measures out to be 75,000 square feet. There are still office buildings in its designated areas as well as parking garages for convenience.
The second Austin campus will have structures that totals to three million square feet, which gives it the record as the world's largest office buildings. The Boyd Co. Inc's principal of Princeton corporate location consulting firm John Boyd Jr. states to CultureMap that, “Apple is a trendsetter in so many ways. Its proposed hotel as part of its new Austin campus is another example of it being ahead of the curve,”
