The Cordless Kettle Embodies Rigid Minimalism in Form and Function

For the modern kitchen, with its dozens of countertop appliances, the Cordless Kettle would literally fit in incredibly well. The geometrically simplified object could be wedged in between your coffee maker and your microwave or tucked up against the wall.

The Objects & Ideas product takes the shape of a rectangular prism, proportionally rather similar to the dimensions of a cereal box. The physical elements that escape this compact container are the tiny spout at the rim and a straight handle that runs from the top to the base of the device.

The black and white color scheme of the metal and ceramic Cordless Kettle reinforces its modern minimalist appearance. It sits atop a shallow base that's form is consistent with the size and look of the vessel above.
