Predictive Safety Platforms

Sage Raises $65M for the Sage Coordinated Care Platform

Sage, a New York senior care technology firm, introduced an AI-enabled coordinated care platform that links residents, caregivers and clinical teams, featuring installed sensors and fall-detection devices to trigger real-time alerts.

The company said the Series C funding round will expand its predictive AI capabilities designed to surface safety risks, streamline caregiver workflow and supply community performance metrics. Sage’s platform aggregates sensor and care data to produce actionable recommendations and trend reports for care teams, and the new capital will be used to deepen predictive models for resident safety and skilled nursing operations.

For facilities and families, the platform aims to reduce response times and inform staffing decisions, aligning with broader trends in aging-in-place technology and workforce-driven innovations in elder care.

Predictive Safety Analytics
Predictive models that anticipate falls and health declines create scope for risk-scoring services that inform insurance, billing and care-prioritization frameworks.
Sensor-integrated Care Ecosystems
The convergence of ambient sensors and clinical systems points to platforms that monetize continuous monitoring through subscription analytics and longitudinal resident records.
AI-driven Staffing Optimization
Data-driven workforce forecasting based on real-time incident and acuity signals can reshape labor allocation and staffing-as-a-service business models for elder care operators.

Sectors Adopting This

Senior Living Facilities
Facility operators stand to differentiate by embedding predictive safety suites that alter care pricing, liability exposure and family-engagement offerings.
Medical Device Manufacturers
Vendors of wearables and fall-detection hardware can extend value by coupling devices with cloud analytics and outcome-based performance contracts.
Workforce Management Software
Scheduling and HR platforms can be transformed by integrating incident-driven demand signals to offer dynamic staffing, credentialing and compliance features.
