Self-Chilling Cans

With a Push Button, the Cool Can Drops Drinks to a Refreshing, Icy Temperature

Canned drinks offer ultimate grab-and-go convenience, and the Cool Can enhances a familiar packaging format with a self-cooling feature to ensure ice-cold sips anytime, anywhere, without the need for a fridge. With the press of a button, this self-chilling beverage can is capable of dropping its temperature in two minutes, all while remaining fully recyclable. On the bottom of the Cool Can, there's an image of a snowflake that appears to indicate that ice-cold temperatures have been reached.

Delta H Innovations, the company behind the creation of the Cool Can, surveyed 100 students at Nottingham Trent University and found that 81% said they'd choose a self-cooling can over a normal can for on-the-go drinking, and 73% would pay more if it meant they'd get to enjoy a cold drink.
