Textured Sweater Sneakers

These Custom Nikes Were Inspired by Coogi Sweaters from the 1970s

Following the launch of NikeLab's 'Bespoke' program, Rocky Xu designed his own version of the 'Air Force 1' model which draws on the design of the Coogi sweater which was first presented in the very end of the 1960s and gained popularity in the decade after.

The resulting look is incredibly eye-catching, with the myriad of vibrant colors coming together for a playful pattern that takes its wearer back in time.

The vintage appearance in given a modern twist with Nike's sleek silhouette however, especially with the clean while sole that helps to balance the whole thing out. While Nike's iconic Swoosh logo is there, it's somewhat lost under the Coogi sweater camouflage -- only its raised design making it evident.
