Nike's Air Force 1 holds immense significance, symbolizing a timeless blend of athletic heritage, urban culture and fashion-forward design, and this iconic sneaker was the starting point for Nike and Jacquemus' JF1. This reimagining of the famous footwear silhouette features a playful intervention in the form of a woven midsole that looks like the laces that tie up the sneaker.
As well as paying tribute to one of Nike's most well-loved products, this design includes a jagged sole that references the Nike ACG Terras—the favorite shoes of the French fashion designer. In fact, in an Instagram post, the designer described the JF1 as a "hybrid" of both shoes from Nike.
Just like the original Air Force 1 sneaker, the JF1 shoes are available in black and white colorways.
