Sculptural Home Objects

The Conversation Piece is a Collectible Home Object Collection

The CONVERSATION PIECE is a collection of sculptural home objects created by Marco Panconesi that translates the material language of jewelry into functional interior pieces. The series includes the Ascolto Candelabra, Ascolto Vases, and Ascolto Clocks, each combining geometric metal forms with carefully positioned natural gemstones. Stainless steel, tin, canvas, and stones including mahogany obsidian, calcite, jasper, tiger's eye, and pyrite define the collection, while production takes place in Germany and Italy using a material-focused approach.

The Ascolto Candelabra balances stacked gemstones in a vertical composition, while the vases incorporate projecting stone elements around cylindrical vessels. The clock designs suspend gemstones as hour markers across metal or canvas bases, using reflection and shadow as part of the display. Each object functions as both a practical household item and a collectible design piece intended for interior settings.
