The Dodecado, a 12-sided building block construction of LED lights, can be combined using the magnetic properties of the structure, enabling it to be constructed into various shapes to light up an area. The bright, white-hued LED lights allow it to illuminate any part of the home, like study areas and living areas, conserving space while giving it added flexibility and adaptability.

Created by Montreal-based Ledamp Industries, the Dodecado lights up once it is connected with another piece to start a stack. Each Dodecado is fitted with a 1Watt LED power source that can last up to 50,000 hours. With each piece measuring close to the size of one’s hand, the various faces allow it to be connected in any number of ways. The device can, unlike traditional plug lights, be used outdoors and during black outs, with the Dodecado+ option coming with a rechargeable battery.
