Diamond-Encrusted Smartwatches

TAG Heuer's 'Connected Modular 45' is a Smart Luxury Model

Smartwatches are a regular sight, and even luxury smartwatches have been released already, but the Connected Modular 45 from TAG Heuer takes that expense to another level. The watch is an updated version of the $1,600 model that was released last year, although the update comes in the form of hardware rather than software. To be specific, the new, Full Diamond version of the Connected Modular 45 comes with 589 diamonds covering its entire casing and band, for a grand total of 23.35 carats.

Considering all that rock, it should come as no surprise that TAG Heuer's ultra-luxe smartwatch has taken up the mantle as the world's most expensive smartwatch. Priced at $197,000, only the richest of the rich will have the opportunity to show of the Connected Modular 45's shine.
