If you're even a casual gamer, it can seem like there's been too many concept controllers to count that promise to change the way you play games. From plastic guitars and power gloves to motion-controlled Wii Remotes, every game manufacturer seems to be looking for the next big thing in terms of how we interact with games.
This concept controller from Tactical Haptics just might be on to something though. They call the driving feature of the concept controller "reactive grip technology." What that essentially means is that the controller has a whole bunch of moving parts within that give a much better feeling of immersion. For example, carrying a pistol in a game versus a rock will cause the parts inside to move differently, giving a different feeling of weight and/or movement. Coupled with motion sensors for in-game aiming, this is one concept controller that has a lot of immersive applications for gamers.
