Wave-Defense Releases

Relic Entertainment is Launchig Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand

Relic Entertainment introduced Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand, a standalone roguelite wave-defense game arriving on PC via Steam on July 29, 2026. The release reimagines the military strategy franchise through solo or two-player cooperative survival gameplay, combining faction-based combat with randomized progression elements.

Final Stand layers tactical warfare over roguelite mechanics, offering 12 escalating rounds, 36 unique boss units, an Endless Mode and faction-specific progression trees that provide permanent upgrades across runs. Players select randomized units or abilities between waves, encounter 18 dynamic in-game events and choose from eight difficulty levels ranging from newcomer to veteran.

Priced at $29.99, the title will launch with a 10% discount, while existing Company of Heroes 3 owners can receive an additional 20% bundle discount. The game translates the franchise’s strategic hallmarks into shorter, replayable sessions, reflecting broader interest in compact cooperative survival experiences with persistent progression.
