Whole-Household Healthcare Plans

GoodRx Covers Family Members and Pets Under One Membership

Whole-household healthcare plans are expanding subscription-based health savings beyond individual users to cover broader family needs. GoodRx’s Companion Family Plan supports a primary member and up to four dependents, including children, adult family members and pets, with no age restrictions. Members receive access to more than 250 eligible generic medications for free, hundreds more for under $10, and savings on dental, vision, lab and imaging services. The primary member also receives access to $19 online care visits.

The model gives GoodRx a way to deepen relationships with consumers by supporting recurring healthcare expenses across an entire household rather than individual prescription transactions. Family coverage could increase subscription retention and prescription volume for participating pharmacies while creating more predictable recurring revenue. Planned availability through GoodRx Employer Direct also creates another distribution channel, allowing employers to offer the membership alongside existing workplace health benefits.
