Epic Games announced the Collision Fortnite event for its popular battle royale video game. The event will be a one-time-only live event. This is far from the first time Epic Games has elected for this event model, as it previously has hosted live concerts and other lore-related events on its platform.
The company has been building up to its Collision event through audio logs, in-game quests, and in-game map changes for several months. It is expected that the Collision event will serve as a climactic point in the war occurring between the 'Imagined Order' and the 'Seven' in Fortnite.
Players can attend the Collision event in Fortnite on June 4th, 2022, at 4 pm ET. Players can set themselves up to participate in Collision up to half an hour before, at 3:30 pm.
