These collage and painting hybrids were designed by artist and musician Nora Keyes.
The unusual pieces of art were created to represent parallel realities that oppose human views and perceptions. While many look at this work and see images that are very real in this world, the artist intended for viewers to trace the shapes "until new perceptions in space start appearing." Much like the inkblot tests that therapists administer to their patients, these collages are left for the user's mind and sight to interpret as they wish.
These unusual collage-painting hybrids make the viewer work to interpret them and imagine a reality outside of their own, making the pieces both beautiful and thought-provoking.
