The Bitcoin trend has gained a lot of traction recently, and Coinye West is a new approach to the virtual currency. As it stands now, one Bitcoin is worth almost 800 dollars. Not bad for some ones and zeros.
Coinye West is set to launch on the 11th of January and promises a more transparent, upstanding and easy to use virtual currency. While Coinye West isn't officially endorsed by Yeezus just yet, the group (who is trying their hardest to remain anonymous) has gone on record saying that if Kanye supports Coinye West, they'll provide him with 100,000 Coinye West coins. Now that's a lot of virtual money!
Whether or not this form of Bitcoin takes off, it's interesting to see the way in which branding is transforming this relatively new currency.
