The Coffee Joint is a new cannabis cafe in Denver, Colorado, that allows users to consume their cannabis on-site.
Though the space doesn't actually sell cannabis, it allows users to consume for recreational purposes in-store as they enjoy coffee and snacks. Since smoking indoors is illegal, the Coffee Joint only permits vaping, oils, or edibles. Entry into the cafe costs $5, and gets visitors a free cup of coffee – however if users first purchase cannabis from the neighboring dispensary 1136 Yuma (managed by Coffee Joint's co-owner Rita Tasalyuk), they can enter the cafe for free.
