Five ATM machines in London have been given a new language option--Cockney. Cockney is an English slang and hard to understand for tourists.
Simply select the Cockney option in the language menu and the ATM will give you “a speckled hen (£10), a score (£20), a pony (£25), a ton (£100), and a monkey (£500).”
Managing Director of Bank Machine Ron Delnevo said they wanted to add a fun element which would be of local interest to the ATMs. People who speak the infamous London dialect are sure to be pleased by this change.
