The Clug Uses a C-Shaped Bracket to Safely Store Your Bike

The 'Clug' is a simple and elegant bicycle storage solution that aims to make bicycle storage simple rather than awkward. Created by Vancouver, Canada company Hurdler Studios, the Clug is essentially a flexible C-shaped bracket.

The bracket has a clipper section that is screwed into the wall. It is fitted with a template -- incorporated into its cardboard packaging -- which helps you establish where exactly the holes need to be drilled. It can also be attached using adhesive picture-mounting strips.

The Clug's gripper section is then placed inside the wall-mounted clipper. The clipper provides the tension needed to hold onto the bike's front tire, while the gripper provides the grip.

The Clug's designers are currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for their product. The current version of the Clug is designed to fit skinnier road bike tires, although a bigger model compatible with mountain bike tires is also in the works.
