Claycat's 'The Raid' is a Feline Fiasco

Claymation artist Lee Hardcastle created his own version of the new high-intensity action film directed by Gareth Evans with the short video Claycat's The Raid.

The Raid: Redemption is an action-packed film about a SWAT team that infiltrates a condo run by a ruthless crime lord. Of course as in most action films nothing goes according to plan and an onslaught of bullets and machetes ensues.

The claymation trailer is just as, if not more, violent then its real-time counterpart. With cops and criminals displayed as cats, the video substitutes catnip for marijuana and a ball of yarn for a grenade. Aside from the cute cat references, the Claycat's the Raid is full of claymation-styled gore and dismemberment. The video is a hilarious tribute to a contemporary action film.
