The latest in the 'Colour Comparisons' series by blogger Miss Moss examines classical art fashion and how it inspired the Delpozo Spring 2014 collection. For the series, Miss Moss uses her keen eye for aesthetics to put runway fashions beside similar-looking items like foods, postcards and complimentary patterns.
Delpozo designer Josep Font said that he was inspired by the paintings of Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot. Miss Moss conducted her own research, looking at each outfit and which one of Corot's paintings it could have been inspired by.
The final compositions by Miss Moss feature the mirrored inspiration images on either side of the Delpozo runway look. This is a beautiful representation of how Josep Font turned outfits from classical paintings into wearable, modern looks.
