Avid pizza fans can rejoice at the Manchester Metropolitan University's latest addition to its curriculum that now includes a class course specifically on the art of pizza-making. The program is offered in conjunction with Pizza Hut and comes with an educational and hands-on apprenticeship at one of the eatery's locations.
The Manchester Metropolitan University is one of the first to open up its education to include pizza-specific material for its interested students, as many enjoy pizza as dining fair. The program has a five year duration that offers a mixture of classroom and hands-on learning facilitated by both the school and Pizza Hut. The material will focus on aspects of production, finance and overall making.
Traditional educational institutions are becoming more open to teaching classes in mainstream subjects focusing on pop culture and trailblazing movements.
