Cirkel by Daphna Laurens is All Based on the Circle

The furniture collection titled Cirkel by Daphna Laurens satisfies many different styles. From retro to futuristic and quirky, there is a lot of character and personality in each piece. Interestingly enough, the Dutch design studio was actually inspired by basic forms and lines when creating this collection.

Designed exclusively for an exhibition at Galerie Gosserez in Paris, Cirkel by Daphna Laurens is comprised of such pieces as a sconce that looks like an unraveled pencil shaving, a orb-like floor lamp and a curving UFO-like table. All of these pieces have one thing in common: the circle. Hence, the title of the collection.

By focusing on form, the function of each piece in the Cirkel by Daphna Laurens may seem dubious at first, but that is the true charm of this collection.
