The new Cinnamon Twist Danish is a supersized pastry that is made for Trader Joe's by a supplier in Denmark. This supplier starts with meticulously laminated dough, which is carefully layered with a cinnamon-spiced, custard-like filling. The whole thing is then twisted into an oversized, round spiral before it's baked to a golden brown hue. The result is a sweet (but not too sweet) pastry with a distinctive cinnamon flavor in every bite. As Trader Joe's describes it, the pastry is "a bit like a cross between a cinnamon bun and a classic breakfast pastry."
While delicious right out of the box, the brand also suggests, warming your Cinnamon Twist Danish in the oven or toaster for that fresh-out-of-the-oven flavor.
