The Cinema sur l'Eau is a new sail-in cinema initiative being run in Paris, France that will offer avid moviegoers with a way to experience film on the iconic Seine River. The experience will consist of a 16x9 meter screen being set up on the bank of the river where the Gilles Lellouche film Le Grand Bain will be screened for patrons in 38 electric boats to watch. 150 deck chairs will also be set up on the Quai de Seine to let pedestrians watch the show as well.
The Cinema sur l'Eau cinematic experience is slated to take place on July 18, 2020 as part of the city's summer Paris Plages 2020 festival that will take place along the Parc Rives de Seine as well as the La Villette canal basin.
