We've all seen and giggled at those (usually) middle aged couples who wear identical outfits. Well, it turns out they were ahead of us all in terms of fashion.

Chloë Sevigny and Opening Ceremony have teamed up to produce a unisex clothing line for their Fall/Winter 2009 collection.

As a former model and American actress, it is fitting that Chloë Sevigny has collaborated with Opening Ceremony to push the fashion envelope forward.

Implications - For the majority of the fashion industry's history, there has been a determined effort to imagine distinct styles for men and women separately. Yet, as society shifts away from pre-determined gender roles, fashion does as well -- the result is a unisex vogue which doesn't discriminate between genders. Although some are reticent to adopt this new habit, fashion critics have accepted the movement as an expression of modern mores.
