Ugly Cheese Bun Burgers

Burger King is Serving Up a New Chili Ugly Beef Burger in Japan

While most restaurants advertise picture-perfect dishes, Burger King has taken a different approach with its new Chili Ugly Beef Burger.

Currently available from Burger King's Japanese locations, the Chili Ugly Beef Burger is a less-than-perfect looking burger. The "ugly" part of the name refers to the buns, which feature four kinds of cheese (Gouda, Egmont, mozzarella, and cheddar) baked right into the bread. Between these two cheese buns, you'll find a flame-grilled beef patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, ketchup, mayo, and a bit of bean and beef chili made with 11 spices.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Burger King Japan has debuted an "ugly" burger. Back in September 2019, they introduced the Cheese Ugly Beef Burger, which is similar to the Chili Ugly Beef Burger, but minus the chili.
