The Dutch architecture office UNStudio recently debuted the visual renders of the Dadu, Children's Museum of Qatar and the plan is playful and blocky. A series of blocky forms are arranged in a circle, creating the sense of a safe gathering space. At the center is a covered foyer and around the circumference of the circle is an abundance of vegetation and a network of spaces for public use. The layout of the museum is not coincidental. UNStudio tapped the "layout of historic villages in the Doha area."
This is but one of the cultural institution projects that are currently underway in the country. The Dadu, Children's Museum of Qatar is meant for kids up to the age of 11.
