Children's author Isabel Sanchez Vergara has teamed up with various illustrators to bring to life stories of iconic women for the series: 'Little People, Big Dreams.'

The books, written for children three to eight years old, feature biographical stories about women who have made an impact on the world. Included in the series are important, influential female figures such as Maya Angelou, Frieda Kahlo and Marie Curie. Each story breaks down and simplifies—without skimping or skipping on the good stuff—the ways in which the feature character, starting as a young girl, overcame adversaries and achieved their childhood dream in adulthood. Illustrated by various artists with individual cartoon-like styles, each book becomes a unique experience for the reader. With this project, Vergara creates approachable, entertaining content for young girls that provides them with positive stories about real life, positive role models.
