Vans is Celebrating its 50th Birthday with Cool Patterned Kicks

In celebration of 50 years of successful business, Vault by Vans is releasing a limited-edition collection of checkered sneakers. This playfully patterned range celebrates the brand's 50th anniversary in style.

The Checkered Past collection is a tribute to the brand's iconic checkerboard motif, which has been branded on many of Vans' popular sneaker silhouettes. The cool motif is used on 10 pieces in the upcoming collection, which features various iterations of the OG Classic Slip-On LX and OG Sk8-Hi LX. Each aforementioned sneaker is presented in monochromatic, blue and multicolored colorways alongside two iterations of the Leather Checker Bag.

Loyal Vans enthusiasts can expect these checkered sneakers to drop on the brand's 50th birthday, March 16th, 2016.
