Charlotte Kingsworth has created a contemporary couch that looks as though it would be at home in a fun house or perhaps even a commercial spaceship. The first because of its unique shape and details, the second because of its futuristic aesthetic. Yes, somehow Charlotte Kingsworth has made a splaying seat look futuristic.
Dubbed Slash, the sofa and accompanying ottoman rethinks the traditional construction of such furniture pieces. Charlotte Kingsworth's clever concept of "an eruption, like a wound," opens up a slew of possibilities. Not to mention the use of a cylindrical shape overall. Full of character, the Slash sofa is a sculptural piece in the home that doubles as much as a piece of decor as it does practical furniture.
