The Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 Collection Plays with Cowboy Motifs
Laura McQuarrie — December 17, 2013 — Fashion
Whether it’s collections are centred around inspiration that is based on underwater ethereal or globe-trotting chic, Chanel always commits to a theme and this is absolutely evident in the Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 collection.
The collection is filled with fringed detailing, feathers, native-inspired patterns and prints that are reminiscent of striped horse saddle blankets. When you think “Wild West,” the colors that come to mind are perfect for fall — dusty browns, leathers and denim.
The gorgeous collection has a wide range of silhouettes and colors, but the theme is not lost on any of them. An updated version of the classic Chanel suit can be caught in a few spots in the collection too, with a longer skirt and paired boots, of course still looking as chic as ever.
