PANGAIA introduces a new collection of apparel that is made with the new sustainable C-FIBER material. It is made with a focus on hi-tech naturalism, crafted from seaweed powder and eucalyptus pulp. The fashion label chose seaweed for this because it is naturally regenerative and is harvested over the course of four years in Iceland to allow for a full regenerative cycle.
Eucalyptus pulp is chosen as it is sourced from certified FSC forests -- it is then transformed into a lyocell fabric. The result is a biodegradable material that goes towards landfills, composting, and marine areas. The C-FIBER material also saves water usage, is carbon neutral, and entirely biodegradable. The range of designs are colorful and cozy.
