As of this year, Final Fantasy fans who want to tie the knot will be able to take advantage of a new, video game-inspired wedding service based on the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding.

According to Final Fantasy, the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding is a "special rite of passage for two individuals wishing to pledge each other a lifetime of devotion." In collaboration with Deuxzero, Square Enix is offering a real-world version of the Final Fantasy XIV Wedding service. For the ceremony, the bride and groom will be outfitted with Garments of Devotion and treated to a reception with refreshments inspired by the video game franchise.

Although fewer young couples are choosing to get married in Japan, novelty wedding services are being created to entice people to unite through memorable experiences.
