Modern Pillowy Pillboxes

The days of using dull plastic pillboxes to organize daily doses of medicine can finally come to an end, thanks to these home medicine containers by Celine Forestier. A recent graduate of ESADSE design school in France, Forestier set out to change how people view illness within society. The pillowy-looking pillboxes are set on wooden plinths, with each level representing a different day of the week. The final product resembles a rocky natural setting, which is what the designer wanted to achieve. By getting people to associate their home medicine routine with nature, a less stigmatized relationship with treatment and disease can be formed.

Celine Forestier's modernized pillboxes are practical, aesthetically pleasing and socially responsible -- everything a designer could hope for from her final product.
