The French street artist SP-38 lives and paints in Germany. If you have been to the area of Mitte in Berlin recently, you may have noticed these posters with the somewhat curious subversive statement: Vive La Crise!
SP-38 was born in Normandie, France and has been living in Berlin since 1995. He has a unique graffiti style which can be described as somewhere between gritty childish lines and angry revolutionist sloganing.
On his site, he explains his style as painting like a human-copy-machine, using only four colors: Blue, yellow, red and green. He uses four simple messages of poetry advocating an anti-depressive spirit and movement. I like his style!
