Temperatures may be dropping outside, but things are heating up inside McDonald's Canada with the release of the chain's new Carolina BBQ Quarter Pounder.

Despite the fact that barbeque season is long over in Canada, consumers can still enjoy the smoky and savory taste of a barbeque burger in the form of the new Carolina BBQ Quarter Pounder. This savory creation consists of a 100% Canadian quarter pound beef patty topped with two slices of processed cheddar cheese, sweet and tangy golden Carolina BBQ sauce, hickory-smoked bacon strips, pickles, and crispy onions. The whole thing is served on a toasted sesame bun.

The new Carolina BBQ Quarter Pounder can be found now for a limited time, but only from participating McDonald's locations in Canada.
