Efficient Hyperloop Cargo Networks

Foster + Partners Envisions a High-Speed Drone Delivery System

British architectural studio Foster + Partners collaborated with ports operator DP World and Virgin Hyperloop One on the visualization of a highly efficient hyperloop cargo network, called 'DP World Cargospeed.'

The freight transportation will be able to reach speeds up to 700 miles per hour and, therefore, will be a welcomed development for a generation that is fuelled by on-demand culture. Originally developed to be a form of high-speed transportation for people, the Hyperloop cargo network will surely unlock doors for the technology and allow for further optimization.

Foster + Partners, DR World and Virgin Hyperloop One envision that designated stations will be installed in the world's ports, the cargo will be loaded by autonomous vehicles and transported by autonomous hyperloop trains.
