Citroën's Car Running Shoes Promote Running on Clean Fuel

To promote the Citroën Multicity car sharing service, Citroën devised a unique set of car running shoes that made an appearance at the Berlin Marathon.

A pair of Citroën cars were transformed into a set of running shoes, complete with laces tied up the front of the cars, as well as socks and hairy legs sticking out the tops of the cars. The hilarious set of cars drove side by side and promoted its zero emission cars that “run as clean” as the marathon participants.

The Berlin Marathon is host to over 120 different countries and over 1 million participants, so this was the perfect place for Citroën to deliver its humorous message. Runners were quick to smile and offer encouraging thumbs ups to the slightly outrageous-looking pair of car running shoes that "ran clean" along marathoners at the race.
