Helly Hansen Launches its SS22 Capsule 221 Backed by Brand History

Capsule 221 is Helly Hansen's latest apparel collection. The SS22 uses some of the brand's core components to encapsulate its 140-year history of technical sailing apparel and mountain gear. Additionally, the AGIR Offshore Collection had a role in creating the foundation of the SS22 range.

The collection uses professional-grade fabrications and technologies in combination with a refined visual aesthetic and color palette to create pieces suited to the modern urban environments. Details throughout the range include a three-layer shell technology, ultrasonic taped seams, reinforced webbing load eyelets, and modular interchangeable spray hoods. In terms of color and print, the hood is painted in a subtle but surreal dusty pastel camouflage tone. More of this print is used throughout the collection, including on its lynch-pin ARC Waterproof Storm Jacket, ARC Vest, Technical Rain Hats, and more.
